One of the most famous American rock groups in the world called, “The System of a Down” with Armenian-American members has been reunited for fighting for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

After a long stop, Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odajian, and John Dolmayan have come together again to make a big tour through London, UK; Cologne, Germany; Lyon, France; Brussels, Belgium; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Moscow, Russia; Yerevan, Armenia. Armenia is the last destination and the concert will be held in the Republic Square on April 23: one day before the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

This is the first time the band will have a concert in Armenia (Serj Tankian had a sole concert though) and it will be free. The group goes with the slogan “Wake up souls” and one of their famous songs, called “Wake Up” will be sung as a message to all the countries, especially Turkey to recognize The Genocide.
